Ukrainian troops continue their counteroffensive in the Melitopol sector. There are successes in the area of Verbove village (Zaporizhzhya region).
This was reported by the spokesman for the joint press center of the Tauride Defense Forces, Oleksandr Stupun.
Verbove is located more than 10 kilometers from the liberated village of Robotyne.
– Ukrainian troops prevented the loss of positions southwest of Novodanylivka and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia… We have partial success in the area west of Verbove and have advanced about a kilometer,” emphasized Stupun.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces missile forces and artillery carried out 1,332 fire missions. Russian troops lost 355 people.
It was possible to destroy 22 units of occupants’ military equipment and three ammunition depots.
Over the past day, the aggressor carried out 16 air strikes, fired 595 artillery rounds and engaged in 42 combat engagements.
– The number of enemy assaults in the direction of Maryinka has increased. The adversary is also manning up Storm units in different directions, which have suffered and continue to suffer significant losses,” elaborated the spokesman.
The enemy continues to try to storm and encircle the city of Avdiivka, although “it is less active now.” Ukrainian troops repelled over 10 attacks in the Avdiivka sector over the last day.
In addition, Ukrainian troops repelled almost 20 enemy attacks in the Mariinka and Shakhtarsk sectors.
