The US, Great Britain and Ukraine are working to strengthen the protection of the Ukrainian energy system against Russian attacks.
This was reported by the US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
We are working 24/7 to help keep lights, heat and electricity on amid Russia’s barbaric attacks,- she wrote.
Brink also reported that an “important and productive meeting” was held with the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, the head of Ukrenergo Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, the head of the State Reconstruction Agency Mustafa Nayem, representatives of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and representatives of Great Britain to discuss “joint efforts to protect the energy networks this winter”.
Earlier, the head of the joint press center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalіa Humenyuk reported that the Russian Federation is trying to raise the level of tension before a possible new wave of attacks on the Ukrainian energy industry.
