Ukraine returned the bodies of another 94 defenders
On November 20, the bodies (remains) of 94 fallen defenders were returned to Ukraine.
This is reported by the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War.
The bodies of the fallen heroes were returned thanks to cooperation with the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Sumy region, the State Border Service and the direct participation of representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross.
They will be handed over for a forensic examination to identify the dead.
The bodies of combatants killed in connection with armed aggression against Ukraine were handed over to the opposite side.
At the same time, the exchange of prisoners of war between Ukraine and Russia has not been carried out since August 7 , when 22 Ukrainians returned home. Moscow actually froze this process.
