The occupiers are panicking due to the seizure of the bridgeheads on the left bank by the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the Main Directorate of Intelligence
The formation of the footholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region came as a surprise to the occupying forces, as they hoped that they would have enough forces and means to hold these territories.
This was stated by the representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Andriі Chernyak.
– Now we see that due to the presence of units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Kherson region, the Russians have a certain panic. They are actively regrouping forces and trying to transfer their additional formations there, – emphasized the Main Directorate of Intelligence.
On November 17, the Armed Forces confirmed that they had managed to gain a foothold on several bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper River (Kherson direction). More than 1,200 occupiers and several hundred units of Russian equipment were liquidated.
The day before, the Operational Command of the South said that at the moment there are no signs of preparations of the Russian occupiers for an offensive in this direction, and our defenders continue to hold positions on the left bank of the Dnieper.
