Heavy fighting continues in the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers continue to counterattack, constantly use artillery and drop high-explosive bombs.
Oleg Kalashnikov, press officer of the 26th artillery brigade named after Colonel-General R. Dashkevich, said this on the air of the telethon.
He noted that the invaders are most active on the northern flank near Verkhivka and Bohdanivka.
– And it is very hot on the southern flank – it is Klishchiivka, Andriivka, where the enemy is counterattacking in small groups, artillery is constantly working and the aviation component is involved – these are guided high-explosive aerial bombs of 250 kilograms. There are tough battles. The enemy is trying to get closer to populated areas. Trying to counterattack them. But unsuccessfully, – says Kalashnikov.
He noted that the enemy does not take care of its personnel, attacks in peculiar waves, small groups of 8-10 people work.
– We are observing the crazy tactics of the enemy, when the Russians simply lose people, but try to advance. Our heights, which we took, are important for the enemy – Andriivka and Klishchiivka, which give us the opportunity to directly control the railway and part of the city of Bakhmut, – says the press officer of the 26th artillery brigade.
As Kalashnikov says, the situation is quite dynamic when some positions change hands.
– We are observing a situation where the occupiers specifically stayed at their positions and worked as a decoy – when our units entered, they struck not only our personnel, but they also did not spare their own, – he says.
In addition, there were cases, in particular, this fall, when the occupiers in Andriivka fired at their servicemen – those who surrendered as prisoners. According to the press officer, the options when the occupiers beat their own are not unique.
