The troops of the Russian Federation are in Belarus, but no strike groups have been recorded – Armed Forces of Ukraine
At the border with Belarus, there are currently no signs of formation of strike groups of Russian troops.
This was announced by the spokesman of the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the North, Yuriy Povkh, on Radio Svoboda.
The situation at the border remains under control. The Armed Forces monitor the movement and activity of the enemy in the opposite territory.
Povkh noted that Russian troops continue to be on the territory of Belarus in small numbers. In particular, this is the personnel of several communication transmission nodes and airfield service.
– As for infantry units, tank units, i.e. units that can pose a real military threat to Ukraine, the formation of such units has not been detected yet, – the spokesman said.
According to him, the troops that were previously stationed on the territory of Belarus were transferred to the most threatening areas in the East and South of Ukraine.
