Svitan named three main tasks for a successful spring counteroffensive
The weather is working on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and against the Russian occupiers. Therefore, this winter and the moment of weather disasters and bad weather should be used for defense and accumulation of resources.
This statement was made by reserve colonel and military expert Roman Svitan in an exclusive interview with Fakty ICTV.
He also called for three main steps that the Defense Forces must take in the winter for a successful counteroffensive in the spring.
Three main tasks for a successful counteroffensive
The first and main task of this winter is to accumulate resources for the next summer offensive campaign.
The second is to hold the front line and advance in the mode and in those areas of the front where it is possible.
– We can mainly move along the left bank of the Dnipro River. This is the best option for the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” he said.
“The third task is to destroy the enemy as much as possible. That is, on those flanks, in those areas where it is possible. For the most part, this is possible on the eastern front.
– We went on the defense and pushed the Russians into worse conditions. They now accumulate forces in the summer, when they can move, and try to move in the winter, when weather conditions do not allow it. Now the weather is working on our side, because we have adjusted to the weather conditions,” the expert noted.
