The Russian occupiers continue to advance in the Kupyansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut directions.

The commander of the Ground Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, announced this in his Telegram channel.

– In order to create conditions for the blockade of Kupyansk, the enemy is trying to seize the settlement of Sinkivka with the help of assault companies. However, it suffers losses in manpower. In connection with this, the enemy began to transfer assault units that were in reserve to this area, – he wrote.

In addition, the Russian occupiers are carrying out active offensive actions in the directions of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Liman Pershiy and in the direction of Siversk.

The situation in the Lyman direction

In the Lyman direction, the enemy is conducting an offensive with the aim of displacing our troops across the river and from the Serebryansk Forestry area.

Conducts unsuccessful assault operations in the direction of Zhitlivka, Terna and constantly transfers personnel from the territory of the Russian Federation to supplement the assault units.

Bakhmut direction

The Russian occupiers are also concentrating considerable efforts on the Bakhmut direction north and west of Bakhmut. For assault operations, they use airborne units, special purpose units and 200 separate motorized rifle brigades of the Northern Fleet.

Despite the difficult conditions and continuous offensive actions of the occupiers, our soldiers steadfastly hold the occupied lines, show high professionalism, courage and heroism.

Commanders and staffs of all levels work around the clock in cooperation with units of various types of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, conduct an analysis of the operational situation and develop effective methods for further destruction of the enemy.

In the East, the loss of Russian casualties is approximately eight times higher than the loss of the Ukrainian defense forces. Despite this, the Russian occupiers are betting on human resources.

Unlike the enemy, the Ukrainian defense forces are trying to achieve success through successful tactical actions, effective fire of artillery, mortars, attack drones and small arms.

In November alone, the defense forces destroyed about 11,000 enemy personnel and more than 1,100 units of military equipment: about 130 tanks and 260 units of artillery and mortars of various calibers.
