Zelenskyy: The stronger the air defense, the fewer Russian devils there will be in our skies and on the ground
The Ukrainian military destroyed almost 30 Shahedis, several missiles and two more Russian fighters on Christmas Eve.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
– Christmas Eve during the war. Our warriors shot down not only almost 30 Shaheds and several missiles, but also two more Russian “driers,” he informed.
“In just a week, our military has shot down 5 aircraft.
– This Christmas sets the right mood for the whole next year – the mood of our opportunities. Opportunities in negotiations with partners. Opportunities to strengthen our air shield. Opportunities to defend our home from Russian terrorists. The stronger our air defense is, the fewer Russian devils there will be in our skies and on our land,” the president added.
Zelenskyy thanked all our soldiers for their accuracy and strength, as well as each and every person who cares about the defense of our country on Christmas and on weekdays, and wished Ukrainians a Merry Christmas.
– May this bright time make the whole next year brighter for us,” he said.
As a reminder, on the night of December 25, 2023, Russia attacked Ukraine with two aircraft missiles and 31 Shahed-type strike UAVs from Chouda and Balaklava in Crimea.
