In Kherson region, on the left bank of the Dnipro River, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to expand their footholds.

This was announced at a briefing on Monday by Natalia Gumenyuk, spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine.

– “Today our work has a result. We have expanded the footholds. But we must realize that the front line is very flexible and under pressure from enemy units. We know that there are many more of them on the left bank, they are much better fortified and have the appropriate rear ground to protect them, unlike ours, where the Dnipro is behind us,” she said.

According to Humeniuk, we need to be very careful in the information space and be satisfied with the information that can be made public at the moment.

The situation on the left bank

Earlier, UK intelligence reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces faced logistical difficulties on the left bank of the Dnipro River, but maintained their presence there.

The Russian group has failed in its attempts to dislodge the Ukrainian defenders, despite having a significant advantage in the balance of power in this part of the region.
