There are not enough Russian military forces on the northern border with Ukraine to invade our country again.
This was stated by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service, Andriy Demchenko, during a briefing.
– Russia does not have sufficient forces on the northern border to re-invade Ukraine. Russia has withdrawn all its units from Belarus, which were at training grounds, and no new ones have been set up,” he said.
At the same time, Demchenko added that Ukraine should not neglect possible dangers from the enemy and be prepared for any scenario.
The representative of the state agency said that Russia is deploying its troops on the borders in exactly the right size to prevent the Ukrainian Defense Forces from being redeployed to more important frontline areas where heavy fighting is taking place and where rotation and reinforcements are needed.
