The Pentagon said that they will soon be able to send new aid packages to Ukraine after the US Congress passes the relevant bill.
This was stated by Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh at a briefing.
According to her, in most cases, when the next package was allocated, the US Defense Ministry built up systems and capabilities quite quickly, within a few days.
– So, as soon as the Congress gives us such powers, I think we will be able to transfer the PDA (packages allocated by presidential decree, – Ed.) to the Ukrainians quite quickly, – Singh said.
Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, said that the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from Avdiivka is connected with the lack of consensus in the American Congress regarding additional funding for the Ukrainian army.
