Ukrainian drones will have artificial intelligence: memorandum signed

Ukrainian-made drones will have artificial intelligence. The memorandum was signed on Saturday, February 24, by the head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries, Oleksandr Kamyshin, and the co-founder of the German company Helsing GmbH, Gundbert Scherf.
According to the press service of the Ukrainian ministry, the document concerns cooperation in the security and defense sector.
AI technology in Ukrainian drones
The bilateral document envisages strengthening defense technologies in our country.
It is about the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies in Ukrainian-made drones.
– This year will be the year of artificial intelligence and ground robotic systems for the Ukrainian defense industry. When the enemy is outnumbered, we must prevail in technology and smart solutions,” emphasized Kamyshyn.
Helsing is a German company that develops software and integrates artificial intelligence into defense technologies. It cooperates with the largest defense manufacturers, including SAAB and Rheinmetall. The company has been operating in Ukraine since 2022.
– “This partnership is an important step in our ongoing support for Ukraine and its brave Armed Forces,” said Helsing Scherf, a representative of Helsing, following the meeting in Kyiv.
According to him, the signed document will accelerate the integration of modern artificial intelligence solutions into Ukrainian defense systems.
