How many sailors did Russia lose due to the sinking of the ship Sergey Kotov: response of the Intelligence Service

As a result of the attack on the patrol ship Sergey Kotov of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, the aggressor country lost 13 crew members, 6 of whom were wounded.

Sinking of the Serhiy Kotov ship: Russian losses

– The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine informs: according to preliminary data, as a result of the attack on the patrol ship Serhii Kotov, which led to the destruction of the vessel, the losses among the crew of the Russian occupants are as follows: 7 – irrecoverable and 6 – sanitary,” the Ukrainian intelligence said.

According to the Intelligence Service of Ukraine, the enemy probably managed to evacuate 52 crew members who were on the Serhiy Kotov ship at the time of the drone attack.

– “It seems that the rescued and dazed sailors of the Serhiy Kotov will be ‘sailed’ by Russian special services due to the loss of the ship,” the intelligence adds.

What is known about the destruction of the Sergey Kotov ship

On the night of March 5, the patrol ship Sergey Kotov of the Russian Black Sea Fleet was attacked by a special unit of the Defence Intelligence Group 13. The ship went underwater in the territorial waters of Ukraine near the Kerch Strait. The cost of the sunken ship Sergey Kotov is about $65 million.

The destruction of the Sergey Kotov ship was officially confirmed by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine on the morning of March 5.
