Russian President Vladimir Putin is a “sick and cynical creature” as he once again began accusing Ukraine of involvement in the terrorist attack near Moscow.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening address on March 25.
Putin accuses Ukraine of terrorist attack again
Volodymyr Zelenskyy pointed out that the Russian president had once again gone on camera to accuse Ukraine of involvement in the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow.
– Today, Putin was talking to himself again, and it was broadcast on television again. Again, he blames Ukraine. He is a sick and cynical creature. Everyone is a terrorist except for him, although he has been feeding on terror for two decades. He is the biggest window for terror. He and his special services. And when he is gone, the demand for terror and violence will disappear with him, because it is his demand. No one else’s,” the Ukrainian head of state said.
Prior to that, the Russian dictator said that although the crime was committed by radical Islamists, according to his logic, the United States is allegedly “trying to convince that there is no Kyiv trace in the attack, that the attack was committed by ISIS.”
Also, the president of the terrorist country began to fantasize that Ukraine allegedly benefits from terror and accused that Ukrainian troops were hitting the Russian energy system, although it has been Russian missiles that have been hitting Ukraine’s energy facilities lately.
Consequences of Russian attacks
In his address, Volodymyr Zelenskyy also thanked everyone who is working to eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes.
As for Kyiv, the President said that after the ballistic missile strike, houses were damaged, as well as the building of the Academy of Arts.
– “People were injured, and everyone was provided with the necessary assistance. Thank God, there were no children in the academy. The debris is being cleared all day,” he said.
The Head of State also commented on the consequences of Russian strikes on Odesa and Mykolaiv, where “the situation is difficult” after the shelling of energy facilities. Zelenskyy points out that all the necessary services and repair crews have been engaged.
– “In the afternoon, Odesa was hit again – people were injured. Kharkiv is still particularly difficult, but every day adds a little energy to the city,” the president said.
Reports from the military and security forces
Zelenskyy also said that during the day he had heard reports from the military, intelligence and the SSU. “The head of the Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, the head of the Intelligence Service, Kyrylo Budanov, and the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, were present.
– The discussions were thorough. We discussed how to further reduce Russia’s terrorist potential. We are clearly planning our actions,” he said.
The Head of State adds that there was also a report by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Lytvynenko, on existing threats.
– There was also the usual weekly report by the head of the Security Service, Malyuk, on the work of the SBU over the past week and the approval of tasks for this time. Also, of course, today I congratulated General Malyuk and the entire staff of the Security Service of Ukraine on their professional day. All of us in our country should be grateful to the combatant Security Service of Ukraine, which really hits the enemy hard and achieves the goals that Ukraine needs, along with all other elements of the Defense and Security Forces,” the President said.
Iftar and Ramadan
Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that he took part in an iftar, a special dinner that takes place during the month of Ramadan.
– Together with representatives of the Ukrainian Muslim community, together with Muslim soldiers, with representatives of the diplomatic corps of the states of the global Muslim community and, of course, with representatives of the Crimean Tatar people. Together we thanked all those who care about Ukraine and help us. We honored our soldiers,” he said.
The Head of State adds that he wished peace to all those who had the honor to share iftar today – an honest and just peace – both for Ukraine and for all nations that value life as much as we do.
