Resumption of military exercises of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Ukraine: what NATO thinks

Currently, the question of NATO partners resuming the training of Ukrainian fighters on the territory of Ukraine is not being discussed.
A NATO official told European Truth about this on condition of anonymity.
– Currently, it is not on the agenda, – the interlocutor of the publication said, commenting on discussions about the resumption of military exercises within the borders of Ukraine.
He refused to discuss individual statements of the leaders of the member states of the military-political union, but emphasized that there are other areas of cooperation – both military and political – in which Ukraine conducts dialogue with the Alliance and receives assistance.
– And let me add that at the moment there are no plans to send troops to Ukraine in any way and in any form, – the official emphasized.
Training of the Ukrainian military by Western partners
On March 8, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, called on partners to train Ukrainian defenders in Ukraine, and not abroad, if that would be more effective.
In April, Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur announced the possibility of sending EU soldiers to Ukraine to accelerate the training of Ukrainian servicemen.
On February 26, after a meeting of European leaders in Paris, Macron said that despite the lack of consensus on sending troops to Ukraine, nothing can be ruled out.
