On the night of April 8, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with an Kh-59 air missile and 24 Shahed-131/136 type UAVs.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The aggressor launched the missile from the airspace of the occupied Zaporizhzhia region, and the drones from Cape Chauda (Crimea) and the Kursk and Yeisk districts (RF).
Fighter aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups and radio-electronic warfare were involved in repelling the air attack.
How many air targets were shot down by air defense
The Defense Forces of Ukraine shot down a Kh-59 guided air missile in the Dnipropetrovsk region and 17 enemy drones in the Odesa, Mykolaiv, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi and Zhytomyr regions.
Earlier, the Southern Defense Forces reported that a transport object was hit in Odesa as a result of a night attack , and a gas station was also damaged.
