Ukraine may receive six more Patriot systems – Scholz

Ukraine may receive six more Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems to strengthen its air defence system.
This was stated by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, according to the official website of the European Commission.
When and from whom will Ukraine receive Patriot?
Olaf Scholz says that NATO partners can provide Ukraine with six Patriot systems, in addition to the one already provided by Germany.
– We have already provided two systems. Now we have delivered the third. The last, third system we announced will be transferred to Ukraine and will be used there. This is our call to other countries to make similar decisions,” the German Chancellor said.
According to Olaf Scholz, NATO has made it clear that existing air defence systems can be transferred to Ukraine to provide greater protection against Russian missile and drone attacks.
– We have heard about seven additional systems. One of them is ours. We hope to find six more in the NATO context. I again used the opportunity at the talks to convey this message,” the German Chancellor summarised.
