Budanov predicts a difficult situation for Ukraine from May, but “there will be no Armageddon”
A rather difficult situation awaits Ukraine in the near future.
This was stated by the head of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense, Kyrylo Budanov, in an interview with BBC Ukraine.

According to him, there will not be a catastrophic situation, but there will be problems at the front from mid-May to the beginning of June.
– In our opinion, a rather difficult situation awaits us in the near future. But it is not catastrophic, this must also be understood. Armageddon will not happen, as many are now starting to say… I am talking about the front in particular. This is a comprehensive approach, because the Russians will use a comprehensive approach. They are conducting a complex operation… Mid-May – early June, – he noted.
When asked whether this also applies to the domestic political situation, Kyrylo Budanov replied that it is about everything.
The intelligence chief also emphasized that there is no reason to believe in Ukraine’s strategic defeat. According to him, if we talk about the bad, then the result will be bad. However, if there will be changes for the better, and there are still reasons to believe that this will happen, says Kyrylo Budanov.
He also noted that we have certain problems at the front, but they did not appear today, and not even three months ago. But despite the problem, Ukraine still exists.
– Ukraine will not lose and Ukraine will not be destroyed. This must be understood, – Budanov added.
Earlier, Kyrylo Budanov said that attacks by Russian volunteers and drones on the territory of Russia will continue.
