This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a video address following the 789th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Rishi Sunak discussed the preparation of the first Global Peace Summit. According to the President, it is important for as many countries as possible to participate.
– “The Peace Summit can and should prove that it is not one person or one’s evil power that will determine how everyone else in the world lives, but the world majority – together, on the basis of international law, the UN Charter, our Peace Formula, which returns international law to effectiveness,” the President of Ukraine stressed.
The Head of State is convinced that everyone in the world must force Russia to peace.
Situation at the frontline
Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, in particular, about how to strengthen Ukrainian soldiers in key areas of the frontline.
– And special attention is now being paid to Donetsk region. I am grateful to all those who are truly resilient, who help the soldiers at the positions nearby with their courage,” he said.
The President thanked everyone who works in Ukrainian defence production – in hundreds of companies that do everything to increase the strength of the state.
– “Ukrainian artillery, missiles, drones, vehicles, ammunition, electronic warfare systems, defence software – I thank everyone whose contribution helps us fight. This is at least 300,000 employees only at those enterprises that are directly related to the defence industry.
Every month, Ukrainian production should more significantly supplement the supply of weapons from our partners. This is the goal: more Ukrainian weapons every month, the President summed up.
