It is possible to disrupt Russia’s offensive plans: Zelenskyy calls for increased support for partners
The daily Russian missile attacks and the occupier’s attempts to destroy more Ukrainian positions can be stopped, and Russian offensive plans must be disrupted. To do this, the Ukrainian forces must rely on sufficient support from their partners.
This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in a video address following the 796th day of Russia’s full-scale war.
– ‘We need Patriot, which is needed here, 155 calibre, which should sound as confident as possible at the front, a long-range weapon that can and should destroy Russian logistics,’ the Head of State explained.
‘All intelligence agencies of our partners are aware of the existing threats and prospects. Ukraine must do everything to achieve the common goals of all those in the world who despise terrorists, the President believes.
The frontline and the return of Ukrainians
The Head of State held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where he heard a detailed report from the Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi.
– The frontline. Our positions. The hottest areas. Supplies we expect. There was a report by the heads of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine, representatives of the Coordination Headquarters on negotiations for the release of prisoners. It is extremely important that the state has clear communication with the families of the prisoners. There must be clarity as to each name and person, as far as possible, what work is being done to bring our people back home,’ the President stressed.
