NATO Secretary General arrives in Kyiv to meet with Zelenskyy on military assistance

North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit.
This was later confirmed by the official himself in a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
Stoltenberg in Kyiv
In the Ukrainian capital, the NATO Secretary General met with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, where one of the topics of discussion was military assistance to Ukraine.
– It is important to visit Kyiv again and meet with President Zelenskyy. The situation is difficult, but it is not too late for Ukraine to win – and more support is on the way. NATO is also stepping up for the long term, putting Ukraine on an irreversible path to the Alliance,’ he wrote on social media.

In particular, in Poland, Jens Stoltenberg discussed with Prime Minister Donald Tusk the issues of deterrence and defence, as well as support for Ukraine.
