The Air Force told how Ukraine will protect F-16 aircraft at airfields

Ukraine is preparing a set of measures to protect F-16 fighter jets when they arrive at our country’s airfields.
Ilya Yevlash, spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, said this on the air of the United News telethon.
How Ukraine will protect F-16s at airfields
He noted that after receiving the Western aircraft, the Ukrainian military will be able to conduct various operations to repel air attacks and strike at the Russian occupiers.
– But for this, it is necessary to properly prepare the place of their basing. This involves enormous funds, we are talking about underground shelters and bunkers. Therefore, we are currently developing methods on how exactly they can be deployed,’ Yevlash said.
According to him, it is planned to deploy them on different types of runways, where it will be difficult for Russia to detect the fighters.
It is expected that various methods will be used to mislead Russian terrorists.
During the Ramstein 21 meeting, Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin said that the first F-16s would start arriving in Ukraine this year, along with trained pilots and personnel to maintain the aircraft.
