Russia has deployed significant forces to attack Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region, while measures are planned to destroy the occupiers who have wedged themselves into our defenses.

– In the Kharkiv direction, as is known, the enemy crossed the border last week and by the evening of Sunday, May 12, carried out 31 attacks in the direction of the settlements of Strelecha – Krasne – Morokhovets – Oliynikove – Hlyboke – Ohirtseve – Gatyshche – Pletenivka – Pylna – Vovchansk – Burguvatka of Kharkiv region, – he emphasized.
According to him, the enemy has tactical success here, the situation remains complex and dynamically changing, while measures are planned to destroy the enemy, which has wedged itself into our defenses.
At night, the General Staff also reported on heavy fighting for the city of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, where the Russian Federation engaged up to five battalions and did not take into account its own losses. In this direction, Russia lost more than 100 occupiers in the last day.
– Our defenders conduct defensive actions, inflict fire damage on the enemy, widely use unmanned systems for the purpose of conducting reconnaissance and launching point strikes to achieve maximum losses. Reserves are being deployed to stabilize the situation, – the summary says.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, commenting on the offensive of the Russian army in the Kharkiv direction, confidently stated that Ukraine is able to effectively hold the front line in the East , in particular thanks to the support of its partners, so if Putin thinks he can overpower it, he is mistaken.
