There will be no announcements, but there is already a decision regarding part of the emergency Patriot batteries – OP
At the moment, the partners have already decided on a part of the seven emergency batteries of the Patriot air defense system that Ukraine needs, on the rest – negotiations are still underway.
This was stated by the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva on the air of the telethon.
Patriot air defense batteries for Ukraine
– Last week was a very timely decision by Romania to supply another Patriot battery . This decision was not simply given to Ukraine. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held repeated negotiations with the President of Romania Klaus Iohannis, work was carried out by the team of the Office of the President. Therefore, we have a very good result – he emphasized.
According to him, there were statements in the press about another country giving Patriot to Ukraine, but he noted that he would not comment on them, since “this has not happened yet.”
At the same time, Zhovkva reminded that Ukraine urgently needs seven Patriot air defense batteries, part of which has already been allocated to Ukraine, relevant decisions have been made, and work on the part is still ongoing.
– There will be no announcements here, let’s not make it easier for the aggressor, – Zhovkva emphasized.
