Make sure that the Russian Federation does not attack our energy: Zelenskyy on attacks on oil refineries in Russia
After the world did not stop Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin’s genocidal policy against Ukrainians, our country began to attack Russian oil refineries.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with Bloomberg.
– We had many different dialogues, my position is very open. We are being beaten with electricity, and no one was able to put Putin in his place so that he would not turn this war into a genocide of the Ukrainian people. Leaving people without water and electricity is a genocidal policy, – he said.
As Zelenskyy noted, no one stopped Putin with words.
– Then we started hitting his energy so that he understood what he was doing. It is not a fact that he will understand, but we started to do. And then everyone started telling us that we should stop taking the appropriate steps, because this is an escalation. What greater escalation than war? – he emphasized.
Ukraine’s position regarding strikes on the Russian oil refinery
According to Zelenskyy, today Ukraine came to a very clear situation.
– Our position is simple: it hurts the world that we are attacking Russia’s energy sector – make sure that Russia does not attack our energy sector – stated Zelenskyy.
