Hit on the Ohmatdyt hospital: Ukraine initiates the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council
In connection with the morning Russian massive missile attack on the civilian infrastructure of Ukraine, including the Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital, Ukraine initiates the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council.
This statement was made by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Warsaw during a press conference with the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk.
“Ukraine is now initiating the convening of an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council in connection with the Russian attack on civilian infrastructure, including a children’s hospital,”- Zelenskyy said.

Zelenskyy noted that as of now, 27 people have been killed and more than a hundred injured as a result of the Russian missile attack on Ukraine.
– Today, Russia struck many cities of our country: Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, cities of our Donetsk region. Hitting, in particular, the Ohmatdyt Children’s Hospital in Kyiv is one of the most important not only for our country, but also for our entire region.
The blow fell on the department where the children received dialysis. Houses were damaged, and the demolition of the rubble is still ongoing. More than a hundred people were injured, as of this time, 27 people are known to have been killed by these strikes, – added the President of Ukraine.
