Increasing the number of aircraft available to Ukraine: Zelenskyy announces decision on F-16
Today, Ukraine continues to work in Washington. In particular, a decision on the F-16 will be made very soon. The number of aircraft available to our country will increase.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy following the 868th day of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine.
F-16 aircraft for Ukraine
– Yesterday we received a decision on five more Patriots and dozens of other air defense systems for Ukraine. Today, we have a decision on airplanes. Two new security agreements will be signed soon,” the head of state said.
“The security agreements mention support for sanctions against Russia, Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and NATO, protection for our soldiers and the restoration of the state.
All this is taken into account in the security agreements exactly as it should be, Volodymyr Zelenskyy assures.
– There will be at least 10 talks with the leaders of the countries. Today there will be meetings in the US Congress. We appreciate American support and will talk about how to add even more good results to our cooperation with America – preferably long-range results,” the head of state emphasized.
According to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, every day brings more strength and closer to a just peace.
