Ukraine is preparing to hold the second Peace Summit in November – Zelenskyy
Ukraine is preparing for the second Peace Summit, which will include consideration of all 10 points of the Peace Formula.
This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a press conference on July 15.
Second Peace Summit
– At the end of July – beginning of August, there will be the first meeting at the level of ministers, security advisers regarding the conclusions of our Peace Summit. The first meeting will most likely be in Qatar, it is about energy security. And there will be a fully prepared plan for energy security, – said Zelenskyy.
He added that there will be a meeting in Turkey on free navigation and food security in August.
Already in September, there will be a meeting in Canada regarding the exchange of prisoners and the return of children. It is expected that a plan for the implementation of these issues will be prepared there.
– I believe that the way we went, we will continue to go according to this plan. After these three points, if they work, a complete plan for the implementation of all points will be ready (Peace Formulas, – Ed.). And I set the task that in November we have a completely ready plan, therefore, the summit, too, for sure, – said the president.
According to Zelenskyy, it is about the plan for the second Peace Summit.
– If we implement these three points and if the complete plan is ready. From our side, from the side of partners, I believe, everything will be done. I believe that for this we will be ready to bring the second summit as close as possible, and that representatives of Russia should be there, – he said.
Previously, the American media wrote that Ukraine seeks to organize a second peace summit , possibly with the participation of Russia, before the presidential elections in the United States.
