The pressure of the whole world is needed to bring the Russian Federation to the negotiating table – Zelenskyy
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that the whole world should put pressure on Russia to weaken it on the battlefield and put Ukraine in a stronger position at the negotiating table to end the war.
The head of state said this in an interview with the BBC, answering a question about whether it is possible to end the war through negotiations.

– This does not mean that all territories are recaptured by force. I think that the power of diplomacy can help, – he emphasized.
According to him, a weaker Russia on the battlefield will put Ukraine in a stronger position at the negotiating table.
– By putting pressure on Russia, I think that it is possible to agree on a diplomatic settlement, – added Zelenskyy.
About Trump’s “peaceful” plan
The president also once again commented on Donald Trump’s statements about ending the war in 24 hours.
– Everyone will be happy if one person in the world, for example, Donald Trump, can stop the war in 24 hours. The question is at what price and who will pay. I don’t mean that his idea is to push us to pay. But if he wants to do it in 24 hours, the easiest way is to make us pay. Because otherwise it is not clear how, – he explained.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine will never agree to such a capitulation.
– We will never go for it, never! And there is not a single person in the world who would force us to do it, – concluded the president.
