Russia launched assault groups in Vovchansk – Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group

The Russian Federation has set up assault groups in Vovchansk, Kharkiv region – there the occupiers are trying to provide logistical support for personnel and improve the communication system.

The situation in Vovchansk
The enemy has launched assault groups in Vovchansk, the enemy is trying to provide logistical support and improve the communication system, noted the Kharkiv Operational Tactical Group.
North-west of the village of Tykhе, the enemy is concentrating its efforts on air reconnaissance, and is also carrying out engineering and fortification improvement of positions.
The Operational-Tactical Group “Kharkiv” noted that on August 11, there were five combat clashes, during which the Russians struck 32 kamikaze drones and fired 365 shots at the positions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the day, there have been three more combat clashes: two in the Vovchansk region and one in the northwest of Tykhе. Over the past day, the Russian army lost 93 soldiers in the Kharkiv direction.
In addition, the Ukrainian military destroyed and damaged 46 units of Russian military equipment, namely:
- 11 artillery systems;
- 12 cars;
- 3 units of special equipment;
- 20 drones.
We will remind that just a few days ago, the Operational Tactical Group “Kharkiv” was informed that Russia was preparing for attacks in Vovchansk in the north of the Kharkiv region, where the occupiers had regrouped assault units.
