At night, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with missiles and Shaheds: the Armed Forces shot down all enemy drones
On the night of August 15, the Russians struck Ukraine with three Kh-59 guided air missiles and launched 29 Shahed attack drones.
This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk.

According to him, the enemy launched Kh-59 missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region, and the Shahed kamikaze drones – from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Yeisk, and Kursk regions.
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, the mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare equipment shot down all 29 enemy UAVs within Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Chernihiv and Kyiv regions.
