Canada allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to use its weapons on the territory of Russia

Ukraine can freely use tanks and armored vehicles, which were transferred by Canada, on the territory of Russia.
This was announced by the Ministry of National Defense of Canada.
Canada allowed Ukraine to use the provided weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation
It is noted that Canada handed Ukraine eight Leopard 2A4 tanks, several dozen armored combat support vehicles and hundreds of armored patrol vehicles, as well as several M-777 howitzers.
Canadian Defense Ministry spokeswoman Andre-Ann Poulin emphasized that Ukrainians know best how to defend their homeland, and Canada is committed to supporting their capabilities.
Also, the representative of the defense department added that Canada does not set “any geographical restrictions” on the use of military equipment that it transfers to Ukraine.
Did the Armed Forces use Canadian weapons in the Kursk region
Currently, it is not known whether the Armed Forces of Ukraine had Canadian weapons when they launched their operation in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation on August 6.
However, as CBC News points out, footage shot by CNN on the Ukrainian border on Thursday shows a Canadian-made Senator patrol car crossing the border with Russia.
At the same time, the spokeswoman for Canada’s Ministry of Defense emphasized that Canadian aid always meets the requirements of the Arms Trade Treaty, an international agreement aimed at reducing illegal arms supplies and human rights violations.
