Air defense forces shot down all the Shaheds launched by the Russians over Ukraine at night
On the night of August 19, the Russians again attacked Ukraine with Shahed attack drones. In total, the enemy launched 11 kamikaze drones.
This is stated in the message of the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Mykola Oleshchuk.

The Russians launched attack drones from the Kursk direction and Primorsko-Akhtarsk. However, the air defense forces shot down all enemy targets over the territories of eight regions: Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Sumy and Donetsk.
Mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, anti-aircraft missile units, aviation and EW equipment of the Air Force were involved in repelling the enemy attack.
– All enemy anti-aircraft missiles were shot down, – Mykola Oleshchuk concluded.
The head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that the Defense Forces shot down one Shahed-type UAV and another reconnaissance drone over Dnipropetrovsk region at night.
