Replenishment of the exchange fund and plus one more settlement: Zelenskyy on the situation in the Kursk region
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the border areas of Sumy Oblast and held a meeting with Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi, as well as the head of the Sumy Military Administration.
He reported this in Telegram.
– The chief of staff reported on the operational situation in all areas of active operations and, in particular, on the most difficult areas of the front. He informed about the steps to strengthen the defense in the Toretsk and Pokrovsk directions, – he says.
Another settlement in the Kursk region is under the control of Ukraine
As the president reported, there is one more settlement in certain areas of the Kursk region under the control of Ukraine, and we have a replenishment of the exchange fund.
– The head of the Regional Military Administration reported on the situation in Sumy Oblast after the beginning of the Kursk operation. There is a decrease in shelling from barrel weapons, and therefore – casualties among civilians,- he emphasized.
Particular attention was paid to the coordination of actions between the military, the police and the State Emergency Service in the border areas, in particular for the organization of humanitarian convoys to certain areas of the Kursk region.
