The Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officially confirmed the destruction of the Russian ferry Konro Trader in the port of Kavkaz, which is located in the Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation.
The spokesman of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, said this on the air of the telethon.

– Yes, at the moment we can confirm the information that the military target was undoubtedly destroyed, – Pletenchuk said.
He also explained that the main task of this ferry was to provide fuel to the occupying forces operating in the southern direction.
He noted that the Russian ferry was destroyed by the Navy in cooperation with representatives of other types of armed forces.
– The ferry sank. Accordingly, as of this time, the port is not suitable for operation until the affected ship is removed from there, – said the spokesman of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
How will the destruction of the ferry affect the Russian Federation
Pletenchuk added that this situation is actually quite difficult for the Russians, because more than three quarters of military logistics relied on ferries. In particular, the supply of fuel to Crimea itself.
The representative of the Navy explained that the Crimean bridge cannot withstand such loads, because the corresponding railway connections do not take place on it, namely from the transfer of fuel.
According to the spokesman of the Armed Forces Navy, the other two ferries in this port are not working. One of them is under repair, and the other, damaged earlier, is awaiting repair in the Sea of Azov.
– So yes, it was the main channel, and yes, there are no more ferries. One is at anchor, the other ferry is being repaired, – Pletenchuk said.
It will be recalled that on August 22, the Conroe Trader ferry, loaded with 30 fuel tanks and ready to sail, caught fire in the Russian port of Kavkaz.
