Tonight, August 29, during a missile-drone attack on Ukraine, the air defense forces shot down two missiles and 60 attack drones of the Russians.

On the night of August 29, 2024, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with three Kh-59/69 guided air missiles from the airspace of the Kursk and Belgorod regions of the Russian Federation.
In addition, from the same direction, the Russians fired two missiles at Ukraine, the type of which is currently being established.
Also at night, the occupiers attacked Ukraine with 74 Shahed-131/136 type attack drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk and Yeisk districts.
The result of combat work of air defense forces
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, Ukrainian defenders shot down two Kh-59/69 guided air missiles and 60 Shahed-131/136 attack drones.
Another 14 attack UAVs were lost (crashed) on the territory of Ukraine.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
Air defense of Ukraine worked within Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Kyiv, Poltava, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Sumy and Donetsk regions.
