Since the start of Russia’s large-scale war against Ukraine, 40 Ukrainian companies have moved out of the war zone under a program to relocate production facilities.
Such figures were announced by the Ministry of Economy. Of these, 18 companies resumed their work in the new location. In the near future, the capacity of another 299 companies will be transferred to a new place of work.
The program to relocate Ukrainian production started a week ago. So far, the Ministry of Economy has processed 86% of applications submitted by affected enterprises (a total of 898 such applications). In the future, the state will provide transportation of equipment and resettlement of employees of these companies.
Some enterprises are relocated by Ukrzaliznytsia. Ukrposhta also helps with logistics. On March 21, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine even supported a resolution obliging the company to transport the property of Ukrainian companies free of charge.
To ensure the unimpeded movement of enterprises, the cars of Ukrposhta and its subcontractors will be given the right of special passage through checkpoints and the possibility of unlimited refueling at gas stations.
The Ministry of Economy reminds that the collection of applications for participation in the program of relocation of enterprises continues. All details can be found at the link.
