Ukraine continues to work to return all citizens from Russian captivity. Every Ukrainian defender is remembered and will definitely be returned home.
This was announced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyу in an evening video message on April 10, 2023.
– We managed to bring home another 100 defenders. 80 men and 20 women. These are soldiers, border guards, soldiers of the Naval Forces, national guardsmen. Among them, by the way, are the defenders of Azovstal. These are a hundred families who received real joy before Easter. Of course, we continue to work to return all our people from Russian captivity. We remember everyone! And we will return them, – emphasized the head of state.
Zelenskyу thanked everyone who supports Ukrainians after release, cares about treatment and adaptation, because it is important.
At the same time, Ukraine continues to expand the state’s foreign policy capabilities. In particular, the president agreed with the prime minister of Iraq on the new energy of interstate relations.
– I informed the Prime Minister about our efforts to restore peace and integrity to Ukraine, in particular, about our peace formula. And I am grateful for the readiness not just to look, but to actually find how to make our cooperation stronger.
The President spoke today with the Prime Minister of Greece, mainly about the current challenges, and talked about the security situation.
– Broader – about our activity for the return of peace and protection of people. I thank Greece for its willingness to continue the existing cooperation and to go to greater things together.
Zelenskyу met today with Richard Branson, a very famous British businessman and a long-time friend of Ukraine, who has been supporting the state with words and concrete work since 2014.
– Now he has decided to join the team of United24 ambassadors. Thanks for that! We discussed how exactly Branson’s global influence can help restore, rebuild educational institutions, attract technological assistance for Ukraine, in particular, to carry out humanitarian demining, – Volodymyr Zelenskyу emphasized.
Ukraine is observing the next steps in defense assistance to the state from Germany. In two weeks, there will be reinforcements from Germany in armored vehicles, anti-aircraft defense, ammunition, engineering machines and medicine, the president emphasized.
– Everything that strengthens Ukraine’s defense against Russian terror, gives our soldiers more opportunities for active movement, protects everyone in the world. The term loser should become a companion to the term aggressor. And only a Ukrainian victory will ensure this. And I thank everyone who really brings the victory closer. It is approaching in battles for the sake of our state – in Marinka and Bakhmut, near Avdiivka and Kreminna, in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson region, in Kharkiv region, in the strength of our entire border.
Zelenskyу believes that winning the battle for Ukraine means winning the battle for yourself, so you should always remember this.
– Вдалося повернути додому ще 100 захисників і захисниць. 80 чоловіків і 20 жінок. Це армійці, прикордонники, воїни Військово-морських сил, нацгвардійці. Серед них, до речі, оборонці Азовсталі. Це сотня родин, які перед Великоднем отримали справжню радість. Звичайно, продовжуємо працювати, щоб повернути всіх наших із російської неволі. Пам’ятаємо про кожного і кожну! І повернемо, – наголосив глава держави.
Зеленський подякував усім, хто підтримує українців після звільнення, дбає про лікування й адаптацію, тому що це важливо.
Водночас Україна продовжує розширювати зовнішньополітичні можливості держави. Зокрема, президент домовився з прем’єр-міністром Іраку про нову енергію міждержавних взаємин.
– Я поінформував прем’єр-міністра про наші зусилля, щоби повернути мир і цілісність Україні, зокрема, про нашу формулу миру. І я вдячний за готовність не просто шукати, а реально знайти, як зробити нашу співпрацю сильнішою.
Президент поговорив сьогодні з прем’єр-міністром Греції, переважно щодо наявних викликів, та розказав про безпекову ситуацію.
– Ширше – про нашу активність заради повернення миру й захисту людей. Дякую Греції за готовність продовжувати наявну співпрацю та йти разом до більшого.
Зеленський зустрівся сьогодні з Річардом Бренсоном – дуже відомим британським підприємцем і давнім другом України, який підтримує державу словом та конкретною роботою з 2014 року.
– Зараз він вирішив приєднатися до команди амбасадорів United24. Дякую за це! Обговорили, як саме глобальний вплив Бренсона може допомагати відновленню, відбудові освітніх інституцій, залученню технологічної допомоги для України, зокрема, щоб проводити гуманітарне розмінування, – наголосив Володимир Зеленський.
Україна спостерігає чергові кроки в оборонній допомозі державі від Німеччини. Через два тижні відбудеться посилення від Німеччини у бронетехніці, ППО, боєприпасах, інженерних машинах і медицині, наголосив президент.
– Все, що посилює захист України від російського терору, дає нашим воїнам більше можливостей для активного руху, захищає кожного у світі. Термін програш має стати супутником терміну агресор. І лише українська перемога це забезпечить. І я дякую всім, хто її реально наближає. Наближає в боях заради нашої держави – у Марʼїнці та в Бахмуті, під Авдіївкою та Кремінною, на Запоріжжі й Херсонщині, на Харківщині, у міцності всього нашого прикордоння.
Зеленський вважає, що виграти бій для України – це виграти бій і для себе, тому завжди варто про це пам’ятати.
