The Russian occupiers are strengthening the counterintelligence regime in Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region. The number of patrols has been increased, and checkpoints have begun to check personal documents and inspect vehicles more closely.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a report on April 22. The occupiers have restricted visits to forest areas, and Ukrainian citizens spotted in these locations are taken under control by the Russian Federal Security Service, and their data is checked.
Representatives of the Russian special services organized covert surveillance of Ukrainians who refused to obtain a Russian passport. In particular, they take into account the sources of financial income of these citizens.
The representatives of the Russian FSB are particularly interested in how money is transferred from the territory controlled by the government of Ukraine to the TOT and how these funds are converted into cash.
At the same time, due to the critical shortage of skilled workers at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant who are willing to work for the occupiers, the enemy has increased psychological and physical pressure on Ukrainian workers at the plant.
The occupiers use intimidation, threats, blackmail, and torture to force Ukrainian specialists to obtain Russian citizenship and sign employment contracts with the Russian state corporation Rosatom.
