This year of full-scale war must be a turning point, and the Armed Forces of Ukraine must defeat the Russian army, because Ukrainians are fighting for their country.
This was stated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Oleksiy Reznikov, in a comment to foreign journalists. He claims that he feels the victory of Ukraine, which is approaching.
– I feel that we will win this war because we are fighting for our country. This year will be a turning point, – he said.
The Minister of Defense claims that currently Ukrainian soldiers are not conducting a counteroffensive, and the current maneuvers are a so-called preparatory operation. At the same time, he admitted that the Russian troops had built very strong defensive lines.
Reznikov admitted that previous expectations about the offensive were somewhat exaggerated. However, he added that as soon as the counteroffensive begins in full force, it will be successful and bring Ukraine closer to victory.
