Chernihiv region is recovering from the invasion of the Russian occupiers. People are shocked by the actions of the invaders, who planned to pass Chernihiv and continue to attack Kyiv.
Although they failed to do so, they left behind shattered settlements. The occupiers looted, confiscated mobile phones and even underwear.
Along the Priluki Kyiv highway, the Russian invaders were advancing on the capital. Tatyana, a cashier, heard shots fired at the village of Nova Basan. She was working at the time. The invaders shot up all the stores and then robbed them. And established a regime of terror.
After that, the Russians started looting. They chased people into cellars, and they went to the houses with a cart like a supermarket.
Locals recall how the invaders cut pigs, chickens, and took away potatoes. They also took people’s phones and didn’t neglect to take their underwear and bedclothes from their homes.
When the Ukrainian military drove the occupiers out, they became angry and started shooting at the houses, aiming at the people.
The teacher of the boarding school recalls how the invaders knocked down the fence with a tank, broke into the building, and threw all the children out. They themselves lived in the educational institution.
The Russian invaders cynically covered the civilians and placed armored vehicles right in the courtyards, but it did not help the invaders.
