The occupiers in Popasna and Rubizhne tried to assault, street fights continue
There are constant street fights in Popasna and Rubizhne, Luhansk region. As a result, neither rescuers nor ambulances can reach some parts of the city.
This was announced by the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Haidai.
According to him, yesterday near Novotoshkivsky, Nyzhny, Popasna and Rubizhne the Russian occupiers tried to storm, but repulsed their attack and were forced to retreat.
Currently, the situation in the cities is difficult. Neither rescuers nor ambulances can reach some districts of Popasna and Rubizhne due to constant street fighting. In addition, in Rubizhne the dead have to be buried in the yards.
According to Haidai, one of the houses in Sievierodonetsk caught fire for the fourth and fifth time due to enemy shelling.
– This is the same house that the Russians hit three times a week – the usual five-story panel, where almost no one is left, because most of the apartments have become uninhabitable. There are no spans in the entrances, sometimes there are no upper floors. But the Russian army does not care where to shoot. And if you don’t hit the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, hit the civilian population. Thus, the flames engulfed this house for the fourth and fifth time. First, three apartments on the third floor were on fire, then one on the fifth, – said the head of the RMA.
In total, seven enemy attacks were repulsed in Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Ukrainian defenders destroyed seven tanks, eight units of armored vehicles and three enemy artillery systems.
The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for 41 days.
