Powerful explosions rang out in Odesa after the announcement of an air alert in the region.
Updated at 11:40 p.m. The Operational Command South specified that the enemy launched three Kh-59 air-to-surface guided missiles from the direction of the Black Sea.
– Two missiles were shot down by air defense forces. One rocket hit the three-story building of the UOC monastery of the Moscow Patriarchate. As a result of the rocket attack, four people were injured. Three of them received minor injuries from the blast wave. One person was hospitalized, – the report says.
Updated at 10:30 p.m. The Russian army launched four Kh-59 guided missiles over Odesa, according to preliminary data. Two of them were shot down, and two more were hit in the city, the President’s Office reported.
– The Russians bombarded Odessa with four missiles. Previously, Kh-59. Air defense forces managed to shoot down two rockets, and two more, unfortunately, hit the city. A three-story building on the territory of the monastery was damaged – it is known that three people were injured, – the report says.

– Around 7:40 p.m. on March 21, two Kh-59 air-to-surface guided missiles fired by Russian Su-35 fighters from the Black Sea were shot down in the sky over Odesa by the forces and means of air defense of the Air Command South . Together – to victory, – says the message.
