On the night of June 9, Ukrainian defenders destroyed four out of six cruise missiles, 10 out of about 16 attack drones and four reconnaissance drones.
The Russian occupiers started attacking Ukraine in the evening.
At around 20:00 on June 8, the Russians, having launched two Kalibr missiles from the Black Sea, hit an industrial facility and a car wash in the Uman district of the Cherkasy region.
From 22:00 on June 8 to 04:00 on June 9, the occupiers attacked military facilities and critical infrastructure facilities with Iranian Shahed-136/131 attack drones and Kh-101/Kh-55 air-launched cruise missiles.
About 16 Shaheds were launched by the Russian army from the southern direction, and six Kh-101/Kh-55 air-based cruise missiles were launched from four Tu-95ms strategic bombers from the Caspian Sea region.
Ukrainian defenders destroyed:

- 10 Shahed-136/131 attack drones, Lancet,
- four UAVs of operational-tactical level Orlan-10, Supercam.
