Explosions in Poltava on April 8: one person died, 12 injured include children

The explosions in Poltava on April 8 rang out at 9:08 p.m., just a minute after the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine warned that a missile was coming toward the region from the east.
Updated April 9. As it became known later, a two-story building near the regional center was hit.
Due to shelling, the roof there was partially destroyed, a fire broke out.
Explosions in Poltava on April 8: what is known
As soon as the explosions in Poltava rang out on April 8, almost 100 rescuers were on their way to the scene.
In addition to the two-story house where about 30 people lived, two three-story houses, one four-story house, and about a dozen cars were damaged by the rocket attack.
The rescue operation lasted more than three hours.
During this time, emergency units of the State Service rescued two people, psychologists of the National Police and the State Emergency Service provided assistance to about 20 people.
Unfortunately, one person died as a result of the rocket attack.
Another 12, including two children, were injured.

Fortunately, there were no casualties.
