Local residents told ICTV Fakty that powerful explosions rang out in the Kyiv region tonight.
Subsequently, the Kyiv Regional Military Administration confirmed that air defense forces were operating in the region.
Before the explosions, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces recorded drones on the border of Chernihiv and Kyiv regions. Enemy drones were moving on a westerly course.
In the morning, the head of the city’s military administration, Serhiy Popko, noted that the defenders of the sky destroyed the drones flying to Kyiv.

The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Serhiy Popko, first confirmed that air defense was operating in the region on the approaches to Kyiv, and later clarified that enemy targets (probably Iskander-K cruise missiles) were destroyed.

After the explosions in the Kyiv region today, fortunately, there are no victims.
Debris from the downed targets during the fall damaged four private houses and an outbuilding in one of the settlements of the region.
Windows and doors were broken in the houses, walls were damaged, facades were cut.
In addition, in one of the districts, grass flooring caught fire.
The head of the regional military administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, notes that the fire was extinguished.
Currently, operational groups continue to record the consequences of the enemy attack.
