The explosions in Lutsk on August 26 began at approximately 8:20 a.m. and lasted for at least an hour and a half.
At approximately half past nine in the morning, the air defense forces shot down a Shahed-136/131 attack drone near Lutsk.
Its debris, falling on the territory of the regional center, damaged an apartment building.
Rescuers quickly eliminated the consequences of the fire and destruction of structures in one of the apartments.
In addition, residents of the building were helped to evacuate to a safe place.
At nine o’clock in the morning, the mayor of Lutsk, Ihor Polishchuk, announced the damage to an infrastructure facility in Lutsk.
According to him, one person died.
At around 10:00 a.m., the head of the Volyn regional military administration, Yuriy Pogulyajko, noted that another residential building in the regional center was damaged due to an enemy attack.
One person was injured.
It should be noted that currently there is no water in most districts of Lutsk due to the power cut.
As soon as the air alert is over, the local water company must go to the sites to turn on the generators and restore the water supply.
