Grain export from Ukraine: the agreement will be signed in Istanbul on July 22

The agreement on the export of grain from Ukraine by sea will be signed in Istanbul on July 22.
This was reported by the office of the President of Turkey.
It is known that the agreement will be signed at 16.30 local time in Dolmabahçe Palace. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres will be present there.
-Tomorrow in Istanbul, under the auspices of President Erdogan and UN Secretary General Guterres, together with the Ukrainian and Russian delegations, an agreement on the export of grain, which is critical for global food security, will be signed,- said Erdogan’s spokesman.

On July 18, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said there was an agreement on a “plan, general principles” for the export corridor.
According to him, the agenda includes such technical issues as the formation of a monitoring center in Istanbul, the determination of safe routes and checkpoints at ports’ exits and entrances.
