Will it be possible to end the war in Ukraine by the end of the year: Podolyak’s explanation
By the end of the year, it is almost impossible to end the full-scale war in Ukraine, which Russian dictator Putin launched on February 24, because the Russian Federation has significant resources of manpower, equipment, and ammunition, despite a weak army.
This was stated by the adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak. According to him, he would like to say that the entire territory of Ukraine would be freed at least by the middle of winter.
– Unfortunately, we have to liberate territories at the cost of our people’s lives. This is not a short-term process. We would like to say that the territories of Ukraine will be liberated by the New Year. I can only say: God willing, – said the adviser to the head of the President’s Office.
Podolyak is convinced that the Kremlin will not spare its people and will spend the citizens of the Russian Federation on the war against Ukraine, in particular, by involving them in hostilities during pseudo-referendums.
– Reality is crueler. It is necessary to understand that Russia has large reserves of manpower, and mobilization has now been announced, – he noted.
After the successful counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region, the Russian elite realized that they could lose the war, as the world is increasingly convinced of the weakness of the “second army of the world” and the military potential of the Russian Federation, Podolyak believes.
